Accomodation
Introduction
IIT Bombay has always been well-known for its warm hospitality. The friendly atmosphere among students and the pleasant environment here offer more to its sojourners than just accommodation. As a participant of the Fest, your hospitality is our primary concern.
We will make sure that your short stay with us will be pleasant and comfortable. The Fest will surely be a memorable experience for you. To assist you in the best possible manner, we require a few preliminary things to be checked from your side. First, you must make sure that you register yourself in our website through our online registration feature. Kindly register yourself as soon as the registration lines open. A mail will be sent to you confirming your registration. Once registered, you can interact with us through the email to enquire further regarding the fest.
Rules and Regulations
- All student participants must carry their valid College photo ID card. Others must bring their valid photo identity for the purpose of entry. People without valid photo identity card will not be allowed inside the campus during Aakaar.
- All students need to report at Registration Desk at Main Gate on arrival at IIT Bombay.
- Room Keys will be allotted at the Registration Desk.
- Participants have to take care of their belongings. The organizing team won’t be responsible if anything is lost.
- Students are solely responsible for any damage to the infrastructure in the hotel room and in case of any such incidents, hotel management decision will be final.
- Random checks would be made to avoid any illegal stay at the campus. Any team failing to produce their receipts of accommodation would be heavily fined and disqualified.
- All the students should bring their own blankets.
- We shall provide you with mattresses and buckets. However, you are encouraged to carry your own blankets since it might be a little cold at night.
- At the time of check-out the participants are required to return all the commodities provided to them to the organizers. Heavy penalties will be imposed by the organizing team if anything is missing. The incident would be reported to respective college authorities.
- Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited in rooms and is a punishable offense.
