Product details We have purchased two basic products namely ArchitecturalLand Desktop based on AutoCAD 2004 release (henceforth referred as LDT2004) and Architectural Desktop based on AutoCAD 2004 release 2004 (hence forth referred as ADT2004). In addition we have two add-on-modules for LDT2004, which is named as Civil Design 2004 and Survey 2004. This can be installed only after installation of LDT2004 and is optional. FAQ ------- 1. What is Autodesk® Land Desktop 2004? Autodesk Land Desktop 2004 software is the AutoCAD® product for land development. This software is part of Autodesk’s Infrastructure Solution: a family of products and services for mapping, civil engineering, surveying, and infrastructure management professionals. Autodesk Land Desktop 2004 software runs on the latest release of AutoCAD–AutoCAD® 2004 and Autodesk Map™ 2004 software products. 1a. What is Autodesk® Civil Design 2004? Autodesk Civil Design 2004 is civil engineering software that runs on the latest release of Autodesk® Land Desktop 2004 software, based on AutoCAD® 2004 and Autodesk Map™ 2004 software, to deliver specialized engineering commands in the same environment. All this technology incorporates many new features that benefit civil/survey/planning users. Plus, Civil Design 2004 incorporates the latest extensions, including Vertical Alignment Editor and Road Output capabilities. 1b. What is Autodesk® Survey 2004 software? Autodesk® Survey 2004 expands the functionality of Autodesk® Land Desktop 2004. With Autodesk Survey 2004, you can download to and from a host of industry-standard data collectors, survey instruments, and GPS receivers. Autodesk Survey 2004 is surveying software that runs on the latest release of Autodesk® Land Desktop 2004 software, which is based on AutoCAD® 2004 and Autodesk Map™ 2004 software products. Autodesk Survey 2004 also incorporates updated TDS Link (Survey Link). 2. What is Architectural Desktop 2004. Autodesk Architectural Desktop is a building information modeling on the AutoCAD® platform.
