SAP2000 & ETABS-NL

On behalf of the Departmental Computer and Communications Committee, we are proud to announce that the Department of Civil Engineering has procured 10-user "Academic" licenses for the structural analysis (and design) software SAP2000, version 12 and ETABS-NL, version 9.5. Check the Computers & Structures, Inc.'s pages on SAP2000 and ETABS for further information.

You can find in this page the basic information on SAP2000 and ETABS-NL that the Department has procured as well as Demo version of the ETABS & SAP2000.

Operating System Requirements:

Windows (32-bit): Windows XP Professional (SP2), Windows 2000 (SP3)

Windows (64-bit): Windows XP Professional (64-bit)

Installation:

To install SAP2000 and/or ETABS-NL client in your computer, please contact Vivin (help_AT_civil_._iitb_._ac_._in, without the "_"), providing the following information:


• Which software to install
• Location of the PC
• Operating system
• IP address
• MAC address
• Person primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance of that PC.

Please note that your PC needs to be in department domain for installing these software.

For troubleshooting regarding installation, you can contact the same address, providing details of your system and exact error/warning messages.
