Also Chaired a session in the area of Groundwater Flow and Transport Modeling. Was in the panel of experts to finalilse the recommendations of the workshop for the UNESCO, DST and the Minstry of Water Resources.

  • As Associate Dean Planning attended a specially convened workshop at IIT Kanpur (Sept. 23-24, 2002) to present IIT Bombay policy modifications towards maintenance and rehabilitation of old buildings and on the construction of a new (1068 rooms) hostel and (700 capacity) cafeteria building. Second work shop was held in May 5-7, 2003 on Institute Works where outsourcing of various facilities and estate maintenance activities were discussed as the major challenging issues. Was co - convenor of this workshop.
  • Awarded National Scholarship for Higher Studies Abroad by the Govt. of India in the year 1979 - 1983.
