About Me

I am Amey Pathak, completed my Ph.D. degree from department of Civil Engineering, IIT Bombay, and now working as a assistant professor at Agricultural and food Engineering (Land and Water Resources Specialization) at IIT Kharagpur. The title of my thesis was “Role of Precipitation Recycling and Moisture Transport during Summer Monsoon in Indian Subcontinent". My research interest includes Eco-Hydro-Climatology, Indian Summer Monsoon Rainfall variability, Land-surface feedbacks, Precipitation Recycling, Ocean–Land–Atmosphere Interactions, Climate change impact assessment, and Regional hydro-climate study.
