The Annual Conference of the Indian Geotechnical Society, IGC-2010 will be held in Mumbai. The Conference aims to bring together professional engineers, academicians, researchers, industrialists and others, with interest in Geotechnical Engineering, for exchanging their experiences. Since its establishment in 1948, the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS), which is affiliated to the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), has been engaged in the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the areas of geotechnical, geoenvironmental, geological and hydrogeological engineering.
