About me

Hi!  this is Janga Reddy, currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Bombay.

Origin: My native place is Aryagudem, Choutuppal (MDL), Nalgonda (DT), Andhra Pradesh, India. (the place is about 60 kms away from Hyderabad). 

Studies: I did my doctoral thesis on 'Swarm Intelligence and Evolutionary Computation for Single and Multiobjective Optimization in Water Resource Systems' under the supervision of   Prof. D. Nagesh Kumar, at IISc Bangalore. I completed my MTech from IIT Madras in 2002, did my project work under the supervision of Prof. S. Mohan. Before joining IIT Bombay, I worked  as Research Associate at IISc.
