Current Area of Interest
Dr. Thomas’s research at IITB is broadly focused on developing frameworks and tools that help adopt sustainable and lean practices in construction projects and infrastructure systems, thereby reducing the waste and environmental impacts. The main techniques adopted by his research lab include system dynamics simulation, agent-based modeling, discrete event simulation; distributed simulation, life cycle analysis, energy simulation, and various lean construction based techniques.
