Modeling Soil-Gas Interaction through Molecular Dynamics

Sharad is a B.Tech. from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at IIT Tirupati. He studied "Estimating the Drivers of Ground Water droughts," in which he tried to establish a relationship between the Standard precipitation index (SPI) and Standardized Groundwater Level Index(SGI) to predict drought conditions. Driven by the motivation to solve problems and create a sustainable environment, he has joined the M.Tech. program at IIT Bombay, Geotechnical Engineering, and is working on modelling the soil-gas interaction by employing Molecular Dynamics.
