STABILITY OF SLOPES AND CUTS USING LIMIT ANALYSIS

The phenomenon of solute transport through a soil is a complex process that requires an understanding of the physical, chemical and biological phenomena involved. Various mathematical models have been developed to study these phenomena but they have some limitations. Centrifuge modelling can be used as a better alternative to understand the solute transport through soils. In this an effort has been made to model Advection mechanism of solute transport using a small geotechnical centrifuge.
