Visiting time

Please fell free to visit me any time on working days in the afternoon from 3.30 to 5.30. Generally, I do not give any specific appointments primarily because I cannot honour them. Many times I was called for meeting with short notice. Therefore, you may call my office number prior to your visit.

Recommendation

Giving recommendation letter for higher education and other career opportunities presupposes adequate interaction with the candidate. Therefore, I will give recommendation letters only in the following cases:

1. B.Tech
   1. Those who did their BTP with me and secured a grade BB or above
   2. Those who completed my courses with AA grade only
2. M.Tech
   1. All who did MTD with me
   2. M.Tech students of transportation with AB or above grades in my course
3. Ph.D
   1. To all my students and students in which I am an RPC member or thesis examiner.

Notes: Other students may not ask for a reco from me. Please give at least a week's notice.

Summer training

IIT Students

If you would like to have a summer training in transportation, kindly contact my research students (Ph.D or M.Tech) and talk with them to identify areas of your interest. Then contact me.

Non IIT Students

1. B. Tech/BE I regret that I do not offer any summer projects. Therefore, kindly do not contact me for any summer training.
2. M.Tech/ME If you are doing M.Tech/Me in Transportation and would like to interact with me, you are welcome. However, you should have the consent of your supervisor/guide.
3. Ph.D: Contact me if your current research overlap with my areas of research. Please give a week's time to respond to you.
