Lectures and Training

  • Developed nondestructive testing (NDT) training modules for a full day training session for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) course on 'Aircraft Structures for Inspectors', (course number 28451). The course was delivered along with hands-on NDT experiments for a week to 13 certified FAA inspectors at Saint Louis University, USA, July 9-13, 2007.

  • Held lecture sessions of the Industry Technical Training for FLSmidth Engineers, conducted by Civil Engineering Department from April 17-July 17, 2010 (Coordinators: Prof. S. L. Dhingra and Prof. R. S. Jangid)

  • Held lecture sessions of the CEP/QIP short term course on 'Finite Element Method and Applications in Civil Engineering' three times in 2009, 2010, 2011 (Coordinators Prof. Y.M.Desai and Prof. T. I. Eldho)

  • Invited lecture: 'Ultrasonic Guided Waves for Large Area NDI of Metallic and Composite Structures � Modelling, Simulation and Signal Processing', Pre-Conference Tutorial on 'Signal Analysis, Simulation and Modeling', National NDE Seminar, NDE-2010, Kolkata, December 7, 2010

  • Invited lecture: 'Finite Element Modeling of Wave Propagation and Vibration Problems with Applications to Structural Health Monitoring', Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Matunga, Mumbai, January 21, 2011

  • Invited lecture: 'Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Assessment for Sustainable Infrastructure', Training Programme for Middle Level LIC Engineers at MIDC Borivali, Mumbai, September 27, 2013.

  • Delivered lectures, conducted tutorials and evaluated exams (with Prof. M. Inamdar) through Live Video Interface that involved more than 7000 college teachers during “Two Weeks ISTE Workshop on Engineering Mechanics”, National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) MHRD, IIT Bombay, Nov 26-Dec 6, 2013.

  • Delivered lectures, conducted tutorials and evaluated exams (with Prof. M. Inamdar) in-house that involved more than 250 College Teachers as Centre Coordinators during “One Week ISTE Workshop for Coordinators On Engineering Mechanics”, National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) MHRD, IIT Bombay, Sep 16-20, 2013.
