Track I: Activity and Transport Demand

This track deals with the topics related to travel demand management, travel behaviour and transport demand, spatial analysis of travel pattern, travel behaviour, choice modelling, applications of travel behaviour analysis and demand modelling approaches.

Track II: Emerging Travel Technologies

This theme focuses on connected and autonomous vehicles and modelling, technology enabled models of mobility services related to passenger and freight transportation, technology enabled multi-modal integration, intelligent transportation systems, traffic management in the presence of CAVs, robotics, artificial intelligence, augmented reality in transportation, and any allied topics.

Track III: Pavement Materials, Analysis and Design

This theme focuses on the use of innovative materials and technologies for design, construction, maintenance of airfield and highways pavement structures. The papers in areas of pavement modelling, new materials, performance parameter, recycling, use of waste materials, stabilization, maintenance and rehabilitation, life cycle cost analysis are encouraged.

Track IV: Sustainable Land Use Transport Planning

This theme focuses on the sustainability aspects in transportation engineering. The topics include but not limited to sustainable development, public transportation and smart mobility, non-motorised transport and equity, transport and spatial development, medium- and long-term transport related climate change impact and clean air, smart transport, smart city, and quality of life and transport noise and vibration control.

Track V: Traffic Management, Operations, and Safety

This theme focuses on the understanding of vehicular traffic operations and design on different types of facilities in order to provide mobility in an efficient, reliable and safe manner. The specific topics include but not limited to traffic flow theory and operations/design, road safety and highway improvements, urban transport operations, effectiveness of control systems, operation and maintenance strategies, other transportation modes and pedestrians.

Track VI: Transport and Mobility Networks

This theme focuses on planning and design of efficient mobility networks including public transportation, freight and logistics. The major topics in this theme are logistics and supply chain management, humanitarian logistics in disasters, intermodal freight transport, urban goods movement, freight transport modelling, planning and design of transport and mobility networks.

Track VII: Transport Economics, Finance, Policy and Governance

This theme focuses on transportation planning, policy making, transportation economics and project finance, transport pricing and economic regulation, public-private partnership, project evaluation, cost-benefit analysis.

Note: Papers meeting the broad areas of the Tracks would also be considered.
