Dr. Thomas’s research is focused in developing frameworks that help adopt sustainable and lean practices in construction projects, thereby reducing the waste and environmental impacts. The main techniques adopted by his research lab include system dynamics simulation, agent based modeling, discrete event simulation, distributed simulation, life cycle analysis, energy simulation, and various lean construction based techniques.
